Nonprofit HR is the country’s leading and oldest firm focused exclusively on the talent management needs of social impact organizations. We’re looking to immediately expand our Search Practice team by hiring a Senior Executive & Professional Search Consultant to respond to targeted and rapid growth achievement and goals.
The Search Team at Nonprofit HR is a group of passionate, driven, high performing, competitive social entrepreneurs driven by mission and results. No idea is too crazy, no amount of growth scares us, and there is no cap on your earning potential. We’re running wild and free in wide-open spaces and need to add another member to our team to respond to our growth. We need someone who has relevant experience and documented success. A self-starter who would rather ask for forgiveness than wait for permission to execute on a gut feeling. We’re looking for a teammate who not only shares our passion for mission-driven work, but is equally fervent about building a successful business.
The Senior Consultant, Executive & Professional Search (Senior Consultant) will conduct and serve as a trusted advisor on search engagements nationally. This role is responsible for the successful closure of search assignments at the professional and executive levels, using unique search methodologies and strategies.
The Senior Consultant conducts detailed interviews with professional, senior and executive-level candidates and evaluates qualifications and fit with the client organizations’ needs; prepares oral and written informative assessments, presentations and recommendations; and manages the expectations of both clients and candidates to ensure successful experiences on every search process within agreed-upon timelines.
This position reports to and works collaboratively with the Managing Director, Search on strategy and business development initiatives; manages execution of research, position specification development, candidate development and interviews, referencing, and client management. The job environment is fast-paced and results-oriented. A self-confident, extroverted style that can engage and positively impact individuals and groups is essential. If you work best when given goals to achieve, and the freedom to decide how you’ll get there, this is the role for you.
